OUR STORY

Octagon Lodge is a family-owned lodge situated between the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater and majestic Lake Manyara. In 2012, the lodge was taken over by a family who refurbished the lodge for guests who value their privacy and luxury. Views capture the beauty of the gardens and guests can enjoy sitting outside, or on their individual balconies under the African sun. Over the years, there have been frequent improvements made to the lodge and at the heart of the tropical splendor of our luscious gardens sits our Irish Bar. Our beautiful gardens are teeming with various plants and bird life. In addition, use our own organic homegrown vegetables and have spring water from our private borehole. The lodge-style evokes the spirit of old African homestead. In harmony with the indigenous environment and architecture, bringing a combination of natural element and homely feel, infused and set with the spirit of untouched and wild paradise.
